Privacy Policy

Who we are

energy.voyage is operated by LiYF Limited (“we”, “us”).

What information we collect

We collect only what is needed to provide the specific thing you have asked for:

• Contact enquiries — your name, email address, enquiry type, optional organisation and event date, and your message.
• Reader reviews — your name, location, and review text, which we may publish on the site after moderation. We do not publish your email address.
• Waiting list registrations — your name, email address, country, and which edition you are interested in.
• Personalised Signed Edition orders — your name, email address, delivery address, quantity, whether the copy is for yourself or a gift, the dedication name you provide, and any optional note to the author. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe (see below) and are never seen or stored by us.
• Reader Vault access — your email address is cryptographically hashed before storage; we do not store it in plain text.

How we use it

We use your information only to: respond to your enquiry; notify you about waiting-list availability; process and fulfil an order, including writing the dedication you requested; moderate and, if approved, publish your review; and operate basic account security for our own administrators. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of specialist service providers to operate the site. Each only receives the information it needs to do its job:

• Stripe — processes payments for the Personalised Signed Edition. Stripe receives your payment details directly; we never see or store your card number. Stripe's own privacy policy governs their handling of that data.
• Supabase — hosts our database, where enquiries, reviews, waiting-list entries, and orders are stored.
• Resend — delivers the notification emails described above (e.g. an enquiry confirmation to us, an order confirmation to you).

Whether any of these providers store or process data outside the UK/EEA, and under what safeguard, is to be confirmed by the owner before this page is treated as final. We do not currently make a claim either way.

How long we keep it

Specific retention periods have not yet been decided and are to be confirmed by the owner. Until they are, we keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for (for example, order records for accounting and fulfilment purposes), and you may ask us to delete information that is no longer needed at any time using the contact details above.

Cookies

We do not currently use any advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies. The only cookies this site sets are strictly necessary ones required for the site to function: one that keeps an administrator signed in after they enter the site password, and one that remembers a Reader Vault access grant. Neither is used to track you across other websites, and neither requires your consent under UK cookie law because both are strictly necessary for a service you have requested.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you generally have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete it, and to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at v@liyf.org.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the site changes. We will update the version below when we do.
